Role Overview
Provide design-related support to development project teams across design strategies, schedules, and guidelines.
Ensure project design activities adhere to the overall master plan.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement design guidelines for development projects with the Design Director.
- Develop design plans to achieve design goals for assigned projects.
- Advise leadership on design consultant candidates through outreach, RFPs, contracting, and contract administration.
- Support design strategies and project schedules, budgets, and plans.
- Conduct internal design reviews and take corrective actions when required.
- Review design deliverables and recommend actions to support quality and strategic objectives.
- Coordinate consultants from pre-concept through execution to align with Qiddiya's master plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field is required.
- A master's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in design management, architecture, urban planning, master planning, or large-scale mixed-use development is required.
- Knowledge of master planning, urban design guidelines, design governance, and design quality assurance is required.
- Strong consultant management, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities are required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously is required.
