Job Purpose
- Manage the development, implementation, and monitoring of SOPC’s compliance and regulatory frameworks to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory directives.
Compliance Frameworks & Monitoring
- Develop, implement, and maintain SOPC’s compliance frameworks, policies, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive compliance universe and obligation register.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and assessments.
- Identify compliance gaps and coordinate corrective action plans.
Regulatory Coordination & Oversight
- Act as SOPC’s focal point for coordination with regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate preparation and submission of compliance documentation.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess implications.
Compliance Reporting & Issue Management
- Maintain compliance registers and tracking mechanisms.
- Apply root cause analysis to non compliance cases.
- Prepare consolidated compliance dashboards and reports.
- Escalate material compliance issues.
Advisory & Awareness
- Provide guidance on compliance requirements.
- Support development and delivery of compliance awareness initiatives.
Coordination & Integration
- Coordinate with Governance & Frameworks, Risk & Continuity, and Internal Audit.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of compliance maturity.
