Job Summary
The Senior Manager or Manager leads evaluation, structuring, and execution of investments and strategic partnerships supporting QSE's growth agenda.
The mandate covers fund manager commitments, co-investments, minority stakes, and alliances with exchanges, market infrastructure providers, and institutional partners.
The role reports to the Chief Commercial & Investment Officer and serves as a lead execution resource across investment evaluation, deal execution, and partnership management.
Investment Evaluation
- Evaluate fund manager commitments, SMAs, and co-investments for strategic fit, financial returns, and risk.
- Lead financial, commercial, and strategic due diligence across legal, finance, and external-advisor workstreams.
- Develop investment memos and investment committee papers with financial models and valuation analyses.
- Lead the structuring of SMAs, co-investment arrangements, and partnership agreements.
Partnerships and Alliances
- Identify, structure, and negotiate partnerships with exchanges, clearinghouses, fintechs, and institutional players.
- Draft and negotiate partnership agreements, MOUs, and joint venture frameworks.
- Own relationships with existing strategic partners and co-investors.
Portfolio and Stakeholders
- Monitor post-investment performance and the QSE investment portfolio.
- Serve as senior liaison with investment banks, legal advisors, fund managers, and regulators.
- Prepare and present periodic performance reporting to senior leadership, including risks, progress, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 10 to 14 years of experience in corporate finance, financial advisory, investment banking, or an investment firm.
- Track record evaluating and executing investment opportunities, including fund investments and co-investments.
- Strong command of term sheets, deal structuring, and partnership and joint venture agreements.
- Advanced financial analysis, due diligence, negotiation, and senior stakeholder management capabilities.
- M&A experience in an exchange, market infrastructure, or financial services environment is preferred.
- A master's degree, CFA, or MBA is preferred.
