Roles and Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the unit, including its operating model, service portfolio, governance framework, and commercial strategy.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team with clear priorities and performance standards.
- Deliver market education programs, executive briefings, training, and practical guidance.
- Advise issuers on investor relations, shareholder engagement, disclosure, sustainability reporting, and investor targeting.
- Maintain relationships with executives, institutional investors, analysts, and capital market stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives that improve market quality, liquidity, research coverage, investor access, and market attractiveness.
- Represent QSE at industry events, roadshows, and investor forums.
- Coordinate with regulators and internal teams on governance and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor market trends and benchmark issuer practices to recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Master's degree or CFA is preferred.
- At least 15 years of relevant capital markets or investor relations experience.
- Experience building or leading teams and developing new functions or capabilities.
- Expertise in corporate disclosure, governance, investor relations, and capital markets regulations.
- Ability to deliver executive-level training, education, and stakeholder engagement programs.
- Established relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and senior corporate executives.
- Experience in a stock exchange, listed company, investment bank, or investor relations advisory firm is highly desirable.
- GCC/MENA capital markets experience and sustainability reporting knowledge are advantageous.
