The Opportunity
- EY is looking for a Senior Manager to join its Audit team at KSA office to lead on complex audit engagements and support business growth.
- In this role, you will build and strengthen internal and external relationships while ensuring high quality work is delivered to clients.
- You will identify and escalate risks, foster a positive learning culture, and mentor junior team members to support their development.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of audit engagements by defining the audit strategy in consultation with the Associate Partners or Partners and executing it in compliance with Ernst & Young's policies and protocols.
- When required, personally execute complex audit procedures and lead teams or parts of teams on engagements, depending on the size of the engagement.
- Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders.
- Participate in business development initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Nine years of professional experience in external audit.
- Strong academic record and professional accounting qualification such as ACCA/CPA/CA.
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Ideally, experience of risk based audit process, coaching, mentoring and counselling experience, experience in the MENA region, and proficiency in Arabic Language.
