Senior Manager – AI Security Product Owner

Role Purpose

AI Security Product Strategy and Ownership

• Define and own the end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for AI security solutions.
• Identify secure AI use cases and prioritize delivery with business, technology, and cybersecurity teams.
• Embed security-by-design and privacy-by-design principles into AI/ML product development.

AI/ML Security and Risk Governance

• Establish and enforce AI security controls for model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Assess data privacy, model bias, explainability, and regulatory risks.
• Align governance with NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and enterprise cybersecurity standards.

Secure Product Delivery and Integration

• Lead secure AI product delivery across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Integrate security controls into MLOps and LLMOps pipelines with continuous validation.
• Drive threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure deployment through the SDLC.

Stakeholder and Vendor Management

• Interface with Product, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors.
• Manage third-party AI solution risk assessments and security and contractual obligations.

Governance, Compliance, and Audit

• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, GDPR, and internal policies.
• Support audits and track remediation through timely closure of findings.
• Maintain AI risk registers, documentation, and governance reporting.

Monitoring and Incident Response

• Define monitoring for logging, anomaly detection, and abuse prevention.
• Lead AI-related incident response and root cause analysis.
• Improve AI security against emerging threats including OWASP LLM risks and adversarial AI.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, AI/ML security, product ownership, or related domains.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML security, governance, risk management, cloud security, and DevSecOps.
• Experience with MLOps, LLM security, AI threat landscapes, product ownership, agile delivery, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with GRC frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Experience with NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and ISO 42001.

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP, CISM, or CRISC certification.
• Certified AI security or AI governance certification.
• Cloud security certification such as AWS Security Specialty or Azure Security.
• Product certification such as Scrum Product Owner.
