- Design, develop, synthesize and optimize advanced functional materials, including radar absorbing materials and coatings
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to address functional challenges across programs
- Investigate material degradation mechanisms and develop solutions to improve material durability under thermal, mechanical, and environmental stresses
- Define and execute qualification test campaigns in accordance with relevant standards
- Contribute to cost performance trade off analyses and material down selection for system level applications
- Implement scalable manufacturing processes, ensuring quality control and repeatability
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years of proven relevant experience in the design, fabrication, and testing of polymers and coatings
- Experience in ceramic materials is advisable but not required

Job Role
- We are seeking a highly skilled low observable engineer specializing in Chemistry, Polymer Science and Functional coatings.
