Role Overview

Technical Work

• Design and develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Build applications using Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
• Implement caching, exception handling, logging, and performance tuning.
• Develop unit and integration tests.
• Use AWS services for application delivery, infrastructure, monitoring, and logging.
• Use Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Technical Skills

• Java 17+, object-oriented programming, collections, and performance tuning.
• Spring Framework Core, MVC, Security, and Spring Boot.
• Spring Data JPA, complex queries, and transaction management.
• RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Redis or Ehcache, exception handling, and SLF4J logging.
• JUnit and unit or integration testing frameworks.
• AWS DynamoDB, IAM, ECS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
• Git-based version control and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.

Must-Have Technologies

• Java 17+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, OAuth2, JWT, Maven, JUnit, Redis or Ehcache, AWS, and Bruno or Postman.

Good-to-Have Technologies

• Spring Batch, AWS Lambda, S3 integration, Honeycomb, Splunk, and GitHub, Bitbucket, or SVN.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with Java 17 or later, object-oriented programming, collections, and performance tuning.
• Expertise in Spring Framework Core, MVC, and Security, and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Data JPA, complex queries, and transaction management.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Experience with cache implementation using Redis or Ehcache.
• Knowledge of exception handling and SLF4J logging.
• Proficiency in JUnit and unit or integration testing frameworks.
• Experience with AWS DynamoDB, IAM, ECS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Git-based version control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Spring Batch, AWS Lambda, S3 integration, Honeycomb, Splunk, or GitHub, Bitbucket, or SVN.
