Role overview
Monitor and support RBC's global network environment on a 24/7/365 basis.
Provide proactive incident detection, rapid response, service restoration, and disaster recovery execution across network technology platforms.
Use AI-driven monitoring and maintain business continuity during infrastructure failures and testing.
Responsibilities
- Detect, investigate, diagnose, and resolve network incidents across production infrastructure using AI-powered anomaly detection and predictive analytics.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance with ServiceNow, Spectrum, Moogsoft, PagerDuty, NetworkView, and NetOps tools.
- Execute and validate disaster recovery runbooks, schedule exercises, and complete failover, backup activation, and recovery validation tasks.
- Lead disaster recovery testing and coordinate with IT support and recovery teams to improve datacentre runbooks.
- Implement AI-driven automation for incident triage and ticket categorization and analyze alerts to improve detection accuracy.
- Mentor junior team members on enterprise network, infrastructure, AI, and disaster recovery procedures.
Required qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
