Role Overview
MONKEY builds enterprise-grade catering software for restaurant organizations that operate at scale.
The company is seeking a backend-leaning Full Stack Engineer to solve product problems, design systems, and ship reliable software.
The role will help modernize and grow a cloud-based SaaS platform used in real operational environments.
Workplace
- The position is remote and based in Canada.
- The role is part of the Research and Development department.
What You Will Do
- Design, build, and refine full stack features for a multi-tenant SaaS platform serving enterprise restaurant and catering customers.
- Design and implement maintainable backend services and REST APIs with backward compatibility.
- Work across Java and Spring services and React and Node.js applications.
- Contribute to architectural improvements and more event-driven designs.
- Write automated tests and maintain a reliable, secure, production-ready engineering environment.
- Author and maintain CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions.
- Participate in the full lifecycle from design through deployment.
- Collaborate with product and engineering peers to solve customer problems.
