Yamama Cement is seeking a Senior Instrument Technician for plant operations.
The role inspects, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs instrumentation systems.
The position supports equipment reliability, safe operation, environmental compliance, and uninterrupted cement production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on instrumentation and control equipment.
- Inspect and troubleshoot field instruments and execute routine inspections.
- Install, calibrate, test, and verify instrumentation devices and measuring equipment.
- Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures and follow safety requirements.
- Monitor and maintain stack dust monitoring systems for environmental compliance.
- Coordinate spare parts, tools, and maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
- Support scheduled shutdowns and annual preventive maintenance programs.
Requirements
- Industrial High School qualification or equivalent is required.
- A diploma in Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates with an Industrial High School qualification need two to four years of relevant experience.
- Candidates with a diploma need one to two years of relevant experience.
- Instrumentation maintenance experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Instrumentation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Process instrumentation, industrial maintenance, environmental monitoring, and safety compliance.
- Lockout/Tagout procedures and instrumentation control equipment maintenance.
