Job Purpose
Perform and assist with routine, preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of instrumentation equipment across plant operating units.
Support equipment reliability, efficiency, and continuous cement and clinker production in accordance with approved plans and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- An Industrial High School Certificate or equivalent requires 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- A related diploma requires 0–1 year of relevant experience.
- Preferred fields include instrumentation, electronics, control systems, industrial electricity, or a related discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect plant instrumentation equipment and identify preventive or corrective maintenance requirements.
- Participate in routine, preventive, corrective, emergency, scheduled, and annual maintenance activities.
- Assist with troubleshooting and basic maintenance of instrumentation and control equipment.
- Assist with equipment isolation and LOTO procedures.
- Handle and maintain instrumentation maintenance tools and equipment.
- Reinstall protective covers and guards after maintenance.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas and remove tools, parts, and waste after work.
- Comply with health, safety, and plant procedures.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
- Basic knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ability to use basic measuring and testing tools.
- Basic understanding of electrical isolation and LOTO procedures.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to work in an industrial and field environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Background
- Previous training or experience in cement plants, manufacturing facilities, or other industrial environments is preferred.
