Deepsource Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer.
The role designs, implements, maintains, and optimizes enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
The role requires hands-on work across servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, storage, networking, backup, and infrastructure security.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Manage Windows Server and Linux systems, including patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, or equivalent virtualization platforms.
- Support Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Microsoft infrastructure services.
- Configure and maintain storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Support LAN/WAN infrastructure and coordinate with network and security teams.
- Monitor infrastructure availability, capacity, and performance.
- Implement security standards, access controls, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.
- Troubleshoot complex incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
- Participate in high-availability, disaster recovery, migration, upgrade, and infrastructure transformation projects.
- Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, procedures, and operational standards.
Technical skills
- Automation may use PowerShell, Bash, Python, or infrastructure automation platforms.
- The role provides technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience across servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, storage, networking, backup, and infrastructure security.
- Ability to design, deploy, configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Experience administering Windows Server and/or Linux systems, including patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience supporting cloud or hybrid-cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Microsoft infrastructure services.
- Experience with storage, backup, disaster recovery, high availability, migration, upgrade, and infrastructure transformation projects.
- Ability to implement infrastructure security standards, access controls, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
- Ability to develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, procedures, and operational standards.
- Experience automating routine infrastructure activities with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or infrastructure automation platforms.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
