- Assist the Director Safety/Quality Assurance in the establishment and implementation of job safety programs.
- Supervise the program to identify and eliminate or control hazards to persons or property.
- Represent the Program in all safety matters pertaining to internal and external activities.
- Monitor Program safety performance and conduct facility safety inspections and audits.
- Perform safety functions within the scope of the job safety program.
- Perform accident record analysis and issue reports on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Monitor the safety performance of all employees.
- Conduct safety audits through review and analysis of safety records and inspections.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health or Safety related field, or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Federal and state health and safety regulations and reporting procedures
- Strong written and oral communication skills
