Responsibilities
- Advise and assist the most senior construction site representative in establishment and management of ESHARP Management and Parsons SH&E processes
- Develop site specific work plans, SH&E compliance programs, training programs, and orientation plans
- Collaborate with SH&E and project managers to evaluate contractors' SH&E performance
- Audit projects and worksites against corporate and client standards; create and submit written audit reports
- Implement Parsons' occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes
- Initiate and conduct thorough incident investigations and root cause analyses
- Perform trends analyses on audit findings, inspection findings, and incident reports
- Represent the program SH&E manager on project or program worksites
- Supervise emergency response team and first aid personnel
- Prepare and review audit and inspection reports and OSH statistics reports
- Represent management during safety inspections by regulatory authorities or insurance carriers
- Provide oversight to new hire safety orientation and other safety training
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in safety, health and environmental/loss prevention or relevant Engineering Discipline
- Recognized OSH education, certifications (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5/6)
- ISO 45001:2018 Lead auditor certificate
- Extensive knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi health and safety regulations including ADOSH SF
- Minimum 12+ years of construction safety management experience in Middle East
- At least 4 years as OSH Engineer/Manager on Construction Supervision or Project management role with reputed consultants
- OSH management experience in both Infrastructure and Buildings construction projects
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication and report writing skills
- Ability to perform in a supervisory/managerial capacity
- Valid UAE Driver's license

- Parsons is hiring a Senior HSE Engineer to join the growing team in Abu Dhabi.
What You'll Be Doing
- Advises and assists the most senior construction site representative in the establishment and management of ESHARP Management and Parsons SH&E processes.

What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in safety, health and environmental/loss prevention or any relevant Engineering Disciplines.
- Recognized OSH education, certifications (e.g NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5/6 etc.).
