Role summary
The Senior HSE Advisor provides advice, guidance, support, leadership, assurance, documented arrangements, and continuous improvement across occupational health, safety, and environment.
The role supports current and future facilities and the creation and management of the organisation's supply chain.
The position sits within the Occupational HSE team and reports through the HSE Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise and leadership across the organisation and its supply chain.
- Create and maintain scalable Safety Management System and Environmental Management System arrangements.
- Lead assurance activities for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification and customer due diligence.
- Deliver business improvement plans and advise engineering, design, and operational functions.
- Conduct HAZOP and HAZID assessments, manage HSE data, and present improvement actions.
- Respond to incidents, investigate root causes, track trends and actions, and support regulatory intervention sessions.
- Evaluate supplier HSE arrangements and promote a strong HSE culture.
