Key Accountabilities
The Skilled Inspector will work as part of the Inspection team to raise non-conformances, overcheck critical components and ensure the parts are correct to customer requirement.
Working to set deadlines to achieve performance targets and Customer delivery commitments.
Working in a compliant manner to ensure that products are machined to the correct technical and quality specifications.
Ensuring Health & safety is kept to a high standard, at all times.
Participating in continual review and improvement processes for the business to identify best practice.
Work in collaboration with Quality & Engineering Functions daily to ensure parts and processes are of the highest standard.
Qualifications
- You will have completed a recognised time-served apprenticeship, including City and Guilds NVQ 3 or equivalent.
- You will be able to demonstrate Inspection experience.
- You will be confident in interpreting engineering drawings for use with precision measuring equipment.
- You will have knowledge of a wide range of inspection techniques.
- You will demonstrate a professional and flexible attitude with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.
- You will have an up-to-date working knowledge of health and safety.
