Senior Highways Engineer

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• A degree or equivalent in civil engineering or a related discipline is required.
• Working toward Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status, such as IEng or CEng, is required.
• Proven highways and infrastructure design experience in a UK consultancy or local authority is required.
• Knowledge of DMRB, Manual for Streets, and LTN 1/20 is required.
• Experience delivering local authority or development-led schemes and strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Five years of post-graduation experience and Chartered Engineer, IEng, or CEng status are desirable.
• Construction-stage, site-activity, junior mentoring, highway design-element, and relevant software experience are desirable.
