Location and Schedule

  • The role is based in Dubai and requires working from the office five days per week.
  • The required notice period is immediate to 10 days.

Experience

  • The role requires at least seven years of coding experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS-related technologies for enterprise responsive web applications.
  • The role requires at least seven years of coding experience with NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong experience in API Banking and Merchant Acquiring is required.
  • GenAI Node.js experience is mandatory.

Primary Technical Skills

  • Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, microservices, MongoDB, Kafka, and API Banking.
  • React.js, HTML, and CSS are listed as secondary skills.
  • Knowledge of data structures, SOLID principles, performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring is required.

Development Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive, reusable, and testable React user interface components.
  • Architect and automate production build processes using task runners or scripts.
  • Develop scalable and highly available RESTful APIs using Node.js.
  • Write tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Develop responsive web-based interfaces and use React components, hooks, and lifecycle concepts.

Platform and Integration Skills

  • Work with CI/CD principles and troubleshoot distributed service ecosystems.
  • Use containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Integrate with API gateways such as 3Scale.
  • Understand single sign-on or token-based authentication using REST, JWT, or OAuth.
  • Work with queues and messaging technologies including Kafka and cloud platforms.

Frontend and Engineering Practices

  • Use Styled Components, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, and other CSS-in-JS techniques.
  • Apply modern front-end build pipelines, React workflows, npm or yarn, version control, and deployment tools.
  • Use unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, or equivalent.
  • Use linting tools such as TSLint and Prettier and document code with JSDoc.
  • GraphQL and banking or retail domain knowledge are good to have.
