Experience requirements
- At least 5 years of coding experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and databases.
- At least 1 year of hands-on TypeScript experience.
- Hands-on experience with performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring.
- Good working experience with Spring Boot.
Technical skills
- Develop scalable and highly available RESTful APIs using Node.js technologies.
- Practical experience with GraphQL and CI/CD principles.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed services and understanding containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with API gateway integrations such as 3Scale.
- Understanding of single sign-on or token-based authentication using REST, JWT, or OAuth.
- Knowledge of task and message queue technologies including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, or Kafka.
Functional requirements
- Follow coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or fintech in an enterprise environment is preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodology.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of technical and application architecture and system design across the organization.
- Research and benchmark technology against best-in-class alternatives.
- Influence multiple teams on technical considerations and improve their productivity by sharing technical knowledge.
- Own and drive work independently while collaborating with teams across the organization.
- Present ideas to senior and executive management.
