ValueLabs is seeking a MongoDB Database Engineer with strong database administration expertise and experience in automation, scripting, and related database technologies.

MongoDB Expertise
- Excellent knowledge of MongoDB database administration, architecture, and internals.
- Excellent knowledge of replica set clusters and MongoDB sharding.
- Excellent knowledge of Ops Manager and MongoDB backup and restore mechanisms.
- Excellent knowledge of database patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and migration.
- Good knowledge of MongoDB Query Language.
Systems and Delivery Skills
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Good knowledge of Agile working practices.
- Good knowledge of modern automation technologies, including Ansible, Jenkins, or Terraform.
- Good knowledge of Bash or Python scripting.
- Good knowledge of other databases.
Responsibilities
- Administer MongoDB databases, including replica sets, sharding, Ops Manager, backups, and restores.
