Team and Role Overview
Scale AI’s Global Public Sector team builds AI applications, training data, and advisory services for public sector organizations.
The role builds full-stack AI applications directly with public sector counterparts to solve complex problems and improve services for citizens.
The position is a founding team opportunity focused on AI solutions for international public sector use cases.
Responsibilities
- Partner with public sector clients to scope complex problems, collect feedback, and implement solutions.
- Spend up to two weeks per month in client offices for feedback and delivery.
- Architect production-grade applications integrating AI models with interactive UIs, backend APIs, and systems.
- Deploy and manage secure, scalable, reliable infrastructure in cloud environments.
- Contribute reusable core platform features for international client use cases.
- Collaborate with design, product, and data teams on robust applications and technical architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of post-graduation full-stack engineering experience.
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Next.js, Python, Node.js, and PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Ability to architect scalable production-grade applications and maintain cloud infrastructure health.
- Experience deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting end-to-end solutions in customer infrastructure.
- Experience building LLM solutions and understanding the generative AI landscape.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Arabic is a nice-to-have.
- Forward deployed engineer or dedicated customer engineer experience is a nice-to-have.
- Experience working cross-functionally with operations is a nice-to-have.
Client-Site Work
- The role includes spending up to two weeks per month in client offices for feedback and delivery.
