Build full-stack AI applications for public sector clients and help address operational challenges affecting citizens.
Work as a founding member of Scale AI’s public sector team, collaborating directly with client counterparts.
Responsibilities
- Partner with public sector clients to scope problems, collect feedback, and implement solutions.
- Spend up to two weeks per month in client offices for feedback and delivery.
- Architect production-grade applications integrating AI models with interactive UIs, backend APIs, and systems.
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure for system integrity, security, scalability, and reliability.
- Contribute reusable core platform features for diverse international client use cases.
- Partner with design, product, and data teams on applications aligned with broader technical architecture.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of post-graduation full-stack engineering experience.
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Next.js, Python, and Node.js.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience architecting scalable production-grade applications and maintaining cloud infrastructure health.
- Experience deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting solutions within customer infrastructure.
- Experience building LLM solutions and understanding the generative AI landscape.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field is desired.
Additional qualifications
- Ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and deliver reliable software.
- Experience with asynchronous communication methodologies.
- Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Forward-deployed or dedicated customer engineering experience is a plus.
- Cross-functional experience with operations is a plus.
Client-site work
- The role includes spending up to two weeks per month in client offices for feedback and delivery.
