About the Role
Scale AI is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join its Global Public Sector team, building custom AI applications for public sector clients. You will partner directly with clients, architect production-grade applications, and deploy infrastructure in cloud environments.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field
- 5+ years of post graduation full stack engineering experience
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Next.js, Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL or MongoDB
- Hands on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure/AWS/GCP
- Experience working directly within customer infrastructure to deploy and maintain solutions
- Self starting approach with ability to navigate ambiguous requirements
- Proficient in Arabic (preferred)
- Past experience in forward deployed engineer role (preferred)
- Experience building solutions with LLMs (preferred)

About the Role
- Scale's Global Public Sector team uses AI to address critical challenges for public sector clients worldwide.
- Core work includes creating custom AI applications, generating training data for LLMs, and providing advisory services.
What You'll Do
- Partner with public sector clients to scope, collect feedback, and implement solutions, including up to two weeks per month in client offices.
- Architect production grade applications integrating AI models with full stack frameworks, managing UIs to backend APIs.
- Deploy and manage infrastructure in cloud environments ensuring system integrity, security, scalability, and reliability.
- Contribute to core platform features designed for reuse across international client use cases.
- Partner with design, product, and data teams to build robust applications aligned with technical architecture.
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of full stack engineering experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Hands on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure/AWS/GCP.
- Proven ability to architect scalable, production grade applications in cloud environments.
- Experience working directly within customer infrastructure to deploy and maintain solutions.
- Self starting approach with technical maturity to navigate ambiguous requirements.
- Driven async communication methodologies to reduce friction.
Nice to Haves
- Proficient in Arabic.
- Past experience in a forward deployed engineer or dedicated customer engineer role.
- Experience working cross functionally with operations.
- Experience building solutions with LLMs and understanding of Gen AI landscape.
