Senior Full Stack Engineer (Mobile & Web)

Role Overview

Mobile Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable, performant React Native and Expo applications, including custom native modules or native code where required.
• Own EAS builds, OTA updates, app store submissions and compliance, versioning, and rollout or rollback processes.
• Resolve native-layer performance, memory, platform-specific, and native module bridging issues across Android and iOS.
• Design mobile architecture, navigation, and state management for scale and maintainability.
• Set standards for testing, mobile CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews.
• Integrate Amplitude, Sentry, Google Analytics, or similar analytics and observability tooling.
• Mentor engineers on mobile architecture, native debugging, and release best practices.

Web Responsibilities

• Contribute to and maintain the web frontend using Angular or React.js and reusable components based on design specifications.
• Support frontend performance efforts involving Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse.
• Use Storybook to collaborate with design and product functions.

Cross-Platform Responsibilities

• Work with Product and Design teams to deliver a strong end-user experience across mobile and web.
• Collaborate with Backend teams on API design and evaluate and integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Ensure high-quality unit and integration test coverage using appropriate mobile and web testing frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews across mobile and web codebases.
• Contribute to agile processes and the technical roadmap for mobile and frontend services.
• Stay current with mobile and frontend technologies and recommend tooling or practice improvements.

Required Qualifications

• At least six years of mobile engineering experience, including at least four years of hands-on production React Native and Expo experience.
• Experience using EAS for builds, OTA updates, and deployment.
• Ownership of mobile app architecture, native module integration or bridging, and app store release management.
• Strong understanding of mobile performance, navigation, and state management using Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or a similar technology.
• Working proficiency in Angular or React.js, plus strong JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+ knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, mobile testing frameworks, and Firebase, GraphQL, or REST APIs.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in fintech or proptech.
• Deep experience with both Angular and React.js for web development.
• Prior native iOS or Android development using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
• Experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment.
• Experience with SSR or SPA implementation and knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks.
