Codex Consulting is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and implement innovative web applications.
The position is full-time and based in the Melbourne office, with collaborative and supportive working arrangements.
What you'll be doing
- Own the full software development lifecycle from conceptualization through deployment.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient web applications.
- Implement frontend and backend functionality while ensuring integration and performance.
- Research emerging technologies, trends, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues affecting client applications.
What we're looking for
- At least five years of full-stack development experience delivering robust and scalable web applications.
- Strong TypeScript and React or similar frontend development experience.
- Backend service development experience using Node.js, Python, or a similar technology.
- Experience with APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, software architecture, testing, Git, and CI/CD.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder engagement, and continuous-learning skills.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Nice to have
- AWS and containerized application experience are preferred.
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation is preferred.
- Authentication experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Okta, or Auth0 is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is advantageous.
- Exposure to geospatial applications, data engineering, or AI/ML solutions is advantageous.
