About the role
The company is expanding an on-site product engineering team in Abu Dhabi.
The role is for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer focused on writing production-quality code.
The engineer will contribute to feature development, design-system work, frontend architecture, and software development lifecycle improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Build and ship complex user-facing features using TypeScript and React frameworks.
- Participate in technical design discussions, proposal reviews, and frontend architecture decisions.
- Extend and refine the component library with UI/UX designers.
- Rotate across feature work, performance optimization, tooling, and design-system tasks.
- Promote automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code-review best practices.
- Evaluate libraries, propose refactors, and improve frontend developer experience.
Required skills
- At least 5 years of professional frontend development experience with production-grade web applications.
- Expertise in TypeScript and React or a comparable component-based framework.
- Expertise in modern CSS techniques, including Flexbox, Grid, and preprocessors or postprocessors.
- Solid understanding of basic data structures.
- Familiarity with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfort with agile collaboration, code reviews, and clear technical documentation.
