Senior Frontend Engineer

Role Overview

What You Will Do

• Own the architecture, delivery, and continuous improvement of the CRM and investor portal.
• Translate complex investment and relationship-management workflows into responsive, usable experiences.
• Build scalable React applications with reusable components, Redux, TanStack Query, and React Router.
• Develop a Material UI system with data grids, charts, rich-text editing, document viewing, and accessible responsive behavior.
• Optimize performance, improve Sentry observability, support Pusher real-time features, diagnose incidents, and resolve defects.
• Write tested, documented, maintainable code and uphold code review, security, and release standards.
• Use Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor while reviewing and taking ownership of generated output.
• Contribute to PHP/Laravel APIs, database-backed functionality, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, real-time services, and third-party integrations.
• Apply OWASP-aligned security practices on AWS and protect investor and client data under DIFC data-protection obligations.

What We Are Looking For

• At least eight years of professional software engineering experience with substantial production frontend ownership.
• Expert React and TypeScript skills with modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Vite experience.
• Experience designing reusable component systems and scalable frontend architecture; strong Material UI experience is required.
• Experience with MUI X Data Grid or Date Pickers is advantageous.
• Experience with Redux, TanStack Query or comparable libraries, client-side routing, and validated form handling.
• Experience building data-rich CRM, portal, or financial applications with complex tables, filtering, charts, and document handling.
• Experience with testing tools such as Vitest or Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress, Git, code review, and CI/CD.
• Working knowledge of PHP, Laravel, RESTful APIs, MySQL, relational data modeling, and integration patterns.
• Hands-on AWS experience with services including RDS, S3, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, and GuardDuty.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10, secure authentication and authorization, single sign-on, and sensitive-data handling.
• A track record of independent product ownership, architectural decisions, stakeholder communication, and delivery judgment.
• A bachelor's degree in a related discipline and ability to work full-time from the Dubai office.

Technical Skills

• The applications use React, TypeScript, Vite, Next.js, and Material UI.
• Frontend state and data-fetching technologies include Redux and TanStack Query.
• The platform uses PHP/Laravel, MySQL, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Pusher, and third-party data providers.
• AWS services include RDS, S3, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, and GuardDuty.
• Testing and quality practices include Vitest or Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress, Git, code review, and CI/CD.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services, asset management, or another regulated and data-sensitive environment.
• Experience with WebSocket or Pusher-style real-time functionality, Tiptap or ProseMirror, and browser-based document or PDF rendering.

Technology Team

Workplace and Schedule

• This is a permanent, full-time, office-based position at Greenstone's Downtown Dubai headquarters.
• The role reports to the Head of Technology and is performed in person to support collaboration and execution.
• Critical releases, incidents, and major delivery periods may occasionally require support outside normal office hours.
