Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer — Agentic AI

Position Details

• This is a full-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi and is not remote or hybrid.
• The role is a hands-on senior individual contributor position with end-to-end delivery ownership.

Role Overview

What You Will Do

• Work with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into practical AI solutions.
• Design and develop production-grade AI services using Python.
• Build LLM and agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, tool integrations, and backend services.
• Integrate AI solutions with internal systems, databases, APIs, and third-party services.
• Own development, testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Work with cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD pipelines, logging, and observability.
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues with on-site teams.
• Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and technical decisions clearly.

Required Experience

• 4+ years of relevant software engineering or AI engineering experience.
• Strong commercial experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying production LLM, generative AI, RAG, or agentic AI solutions.
• Experience with REST APIs, system integrations, databases, and backend services.
• Practical understanding of Docker, cloud environments, CI/CD, and production monitoring.
• Experience with MCP, structured tool calling, multi-agent systems, Voice AI, or conversational AI is an additional strength.
• TypeScript or Node.js, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and regulated-environment experience are additional strengths.

Candidate Requirements

• Applicants must be able to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of delivery.
• Fluent English and strong stakeholder communication skills are required.
• Applicants must be ready to work full-time on-site in Abu Dhabi.
• Applicants must be willing and able to complete the required UAE government security-clearance process.

Assignment

• The current assignment is planned through the end of 2027, with the possibility of extension.
