Role Overview

Financial Modelling and Analysis

• Conduct financial modelling and projections as directed by investment management and development teams.
• Coach and mentor analysts on financial modelling.
• Analyse company financial statements, company accounts, and sector data.
• Monitor economic and political events affecting the renewable energy sector.
• Interpret data from different sources and assess the impact on investment decisions.
• Provide analysis for due diligence and post-investment monitoring of assets.

Transactions

• Support vice presidents and project finance teams by running parts of transactions as directed.
• Support transaction timelines, due diligence, and data collection and analysis efforts.
• Research and respond to client and investor inquiries as directed.
• Participate in and manage internal and external meetings with junior and mid-level stakeholders.
• Interpret and develop basic legal documentation and commercial contracts.
• Take the lead on certain transactions.

Presentations and Reports

• Develop high-quality PowerPoint slides and reports for fundraising, investor, board, shareholder, and corporate presentations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics.
• 3–4 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field.
• Previous experience in investment management, private equity, or power and infrastructure is desirable.
• Thorough understanding of the renewable energy market, technologies, players, and key industry drivers.
• Solid understanding of commercial and funding structures and asset management.
