- Lead planning and execution of a variety of events including conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, product launches, and corporate events locally and internationally
- Support ideation of event concepts, themes, and objectives in alignment with TII's brand positioning and business goals
- Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of events including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, speaker arrangements, badge facilitation, and on site coordination
- Oversee all event sponsorships including oversight of all benefits to full utility
- Ensure event execution is of high quality across exhibitions and other set ups that position our brand
- Manage budgeting responsibilities
- Direct and manage event agencies in the UAE and internationally
- Manage 2 direct reports within the department
Requirements
- Proven experience in Events or a similar role, with a track record of successful event planning and execution both locally and internationally for a large government based organization
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid organizational and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to oversee events as needed
- International travel and short notice commitment required
- Passion for staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in event management
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, communications, or a related field

Overview
- TII is seeking an accomplished Senior Manager – Events and Partnerships to join its dynamic and fast paced team.
- The successful candidate will lead the planning, organization and delivery of a diverse portfolio of events and activations designed to strengthen brand awareness, engage key partners and stakeholders, and support strategic business objectives.
- The role spans large scale hosted events, exhibitions, sponsorship activations, internal events and participation arrangements, requiring the ability to move seamlessly from strategic planning to hands on operational delivery.
- The role also involves directing and managing event agencies in the UAE and internationally, ensuring consistent quality, effective delivery and alignment with TII’s objectives.
- The role has responsibility of 2 line management direct reports within the department.
- International travel will be required, including the flexibility to support short notice commitments as needed.
Functional Activities
- Lead Events Management: Support event evaluation, planning and execution of conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, product launches, and corporate events locally and internationally.
- Support ideation of event concepts, themes, and objectives in alignment with TII's brand positioning and business goals.
- Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of events including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, speaker arrangements, badge facilitation and on site event coordination.
- Oversee all event sponsorships including oversight of all benefits to full utility.
- Ensure event execution is of high quality across exhibitions and other set ups that position our brand.
- Budgeting responsibilities.
- On site Event Execution Management: Support on site event logistics including setup, signage, registration, audiovisual requirements, and event flow.
- Coordinate and manage event staff, volunteers, and third party service providers to ensure smooth event operations.
- Marketing Content and Promotions: Work with branding and marketing teams to direct engaging event content and collateral including invitations, promotional materials, signage, and presentations.
- Coordinate with communications and social media teams to utilize various communication channels to maximize event exposure.
- Post Event Evaluation and Analysis: Support post event evaluations to measure event success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze event data and metrics such as attendance, participant feedback, ROI, and sponsorship performance to generate insights and inform future event strategies.
Experience & Education
