This role in summary

To validate dishwasher components, sub-systems under real-world loads using Structural Simulations

Your responsibilities will include

• Project & Problem Definition : Understand project requirements, physical problems, and design requirements. Convert simple physical/field problems into simulation problems (defining Boundary Conditions) with guidance from Senior or Lead CAE Specialists.
• Simulation Execution : Independently perform component-level, sub-system level simulations, postprocess the results with engineering judgement, and deliver design/ engineering solutions to platform engineers (with guidance from senior SBD engineers or team leads).
• Application of Tools : Use engineering tools to verify designs for performance, assembly, reliability, manufacturability, and safety.
• Cross-functional Communication : Communicate simulation outputs effectively with various stakeholders via simulation reports and project discussions.
• Design Reviews & Risk Assessment : Support design reviews and program risk assessments by providing relevant simulation inputs.
• IP & Knowledge Management : Contribute ideation toward Intellectual Property (IP), and generate and capture knowledge for future reuse.
• Capability Development : Responsible for improvement of simulation fidelity.

Minimum requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : M.Tech/ ME from Mechanical

EXPERIENCE: 3-6 years

• Engineering & Simulation Fundamentals. Proficient knowledge of Engineering Fundamentals and Engineering concepts
• Analysis Tool Proficiency ( proficiency in FEA tools ANSYS Workbench, Basic understanding of Hypermesh & LSdyna )
• Proficient in Result interpretation & Attribute Analysis.
• Green Belt trained (hands-on experience/awareness of Six Sigma, OPEX, and Lean tools) as well as a basic knowledge of the WPD process.
• Problem Solving Capability.

• The engineer should have the ability to work independently for the component & subsystem level simulation, and be able to replicate the physics in the FEA model, and also post-process the results with engineering judgements .
• Experience in Nonlinear simulations, hyperelastic material solving and able to debug the convergence issue independently.

Preferred skills and experiences

• Design & Engineering Solutions : Actionable design fixes or optimizations delivered to platform engineers.
• Simulation Reports : Clear documentation and communication of simulation outputs for team discussions.
• Simulation Boundary Conditions (BC) : Conversion of physical problems into structured simulation setups.
• Design Review Inputs : Data-driven simulation inputs to support risk assessments and design reviews.
• IP Contributions & Reusable Knowledge : Ideation outputs for patents/research and captured knowledge documentation for future project reuse.
