Role Summary

Responsibilities

• Convert physical or field problems into simulation problems and define boundary conditions independently.
• Perform structural simulations, analyze results, and prepare reports with conclusions and improvement suggestions.
• Interpret results and contribute to design solutions.
• Independently handle projects and deliver solutions to stakeholders.
• Coordinate project discussions with different functions and stakeholders.
• Document and share knowledge proactively.
• Perform component-, subsystem-, and system-level simulations using LS-DYNA.
• Perform component-, subsystem-, and system-level result analysis using LS-PrePost.
• Perform 2D and 3D meshing of sheet metals and plastics using Altair HyperMesh.

Minimum Requirements

• M.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2–6 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with explicit and implicit LS-DYNA analysis projects.
• Experience selecting element types, mesh sizes, material properties, element quality checks, and material models and parameters.
• Experience interpreting FEA results, post-processing, and preparing comprehensive analysis reports with design solutions.
• Experience providing logical and feasible design suggestions based on FEA analysis.
• Very good knowledge of FEM theory and numerical methods.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of strength of materials and impact dynamics.
• Knowledge of FEM and numerical techniques.
• Basic understanding of material and product testing.
• Proficiency in HyperMesh, LS-DYNA, or ANSYS.
• Ability to publish or present papers in technical forums.
• Technical rigor for patent filing; patents are desirable.
• Openness to sharing knowledge and thoughts.
