Role Overview
The role supports Ramboll Engineering Centre's Tunnels and Underground Structures team in Gurgaon and Noida.
The team delivers geotechnical design solutions for major international infrastructure projects in collaboration with global offices.
The position offers exposure to geotechnical engineering, underground infrastructure, and European projects.
Geotechnical Design
- Design pile foundations, shallow foundations, retaining structures, and temporary works using Eurocodes and other international standards.
- Interpret geotechnical investigation reports and apply appropriate design parameters.
- Develop ground improvement proposals and design support systems.
- Perform soil-structure interaction analysis, modeling, and validation.
- Conduct slope stability, ground movement, settlement, and risk assessments for urban structures.
- Propose instrumentation and monitoring schemes.
- Design sheet pile, soldier pile, secant pile, and other retaining systems.
Coordination and Delivery
- Coordinate with the wider geostructures group for seamless design delivery.
- Assist with project schedules and budgets.
