Role overview
Lead technical sustainability and building physics delivery from Ramboll's Engineering Centre in Gurugram.
Support concept design, competitions, feasibility studies, and multidisciplinary projects across the UK and internationally.
The role focuses on passive design, building performance modelling, life-cycle assessment, decarbonisation, and client-facing technical recommendations.
Qualifications and experience
- A master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, sustainable architecture, building performance, or an allied subject is required.
- At least 10 years of experience in building physics or sustainability, preferably in consulting, is required.
- Experience with energy, passive design, parametric modelling, and early-stage design analysis is required.
- Experience with IES VE or similar building performance modelling tools is required.
- Life-cycle assessment experience using One Click LCA or an equivalent platform is required.
- Experience with LEED, WELL, BREEAM, Estidama, Barjeel, or Mostadam certification schemes is required.
Technical delivery
- Support passive design analysis covering orientation, massing, shading, façade optimisation, daylight, thermal comfort, and low-energy strategies.
