Role overview
The Assistant Engineer will join Ramboll's bridge team within its Transport division.
The role supports the design of bridges and allied structures under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Perform FE modelling, analysis, and structural design of bridges and allied structures.
- Coordinate project planning, schedule, and WBS preparation within the design team.
- Deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Develop personal design ability and improve the quality of team delivery.
- Coordinate with team members and the project manager for timely project delivery.
Required qualifications
- Hold a BE or B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute.
- Have more than 1–2 years of experience in bridge design.
- Understand bridge-design analysis and design principles.
- Have hands-on experience with bridge-design software such as LUSAS or STAAD Pro.
- Know AutoCAD or MicroStation and prepare drawings according to CAD standards.
- Have good communication skills and be able to present work.
- Be able to coordinate effectively with team members and the project manager.
- Have professional English language skills, written and verbal.
