Role Overview
AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical (MEP) Engineer for its Building and Places team in India.
The role contributes to building and infrastructure projects across global offices and provides specialized electrical engineering expertise.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical input to electrical studies and designs and develop procedures for high-quality, cost-effective delivery.
- Participate in interdisciplinary reviews and complete the electrical discipline component of plans, specifications, and estimates packages.
- Review design calculations and drawings for quality control and prepare technical specification sections.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians in electrical design principles and best practices.
- Integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines and develop solutions to complex design challenges.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regional regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments and represent the company in relevant technical forums and conferences.
Qualifications
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Seven to thirteen years of electrical design experience on Middle East or UK projects is preferred.
- Awareness of British and American standards and regional regulations is essential.
