Role Purpose
Senior Engineer supporting global capital project engineering and development of global engineering design standards as a subject matter expert.
The role works closely with the Electrical Lead on technical reviews for global capital projects.
Main Accountabilities
- Support design engineering and technical specifications for HV/MV/LV electrical, ELV, instrumentation, control, automation, and related systems.
- Review design bases, PIDs, SLDs, calculations, schematics, layouts, specifications, datasheets, drawings, BOQs, cost estimates, and 3D models.
- Use AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ETAP, and DIALux for design work and reviews.
- Develop global engineering standards, benchmarks, supplier databases, engineering databases, and cost databases.
- Coordinate with project teams, engineering disciplines, procurement, suppliers, operations, safety, legal, IT, and project management.
- Support vendor selection, RFQs, bid evaluations, vendor document approvals, technical training, and vendor development.
Knowledge and Competencies
- Experience with industrial design and specification of electrical, ELV, instrumentation, and control installations.
- Experience with applicable national and international norms and regulations, especially in Europe and North America.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and food industry hygiene standards.
