Role Summary
Join the Modeling and Simulation team as a Senior Engineer focused on acoustics.
Lead predictive modeling efforts for complex noise and vibration challenges across HVAC and transport refrigeration products.
Apply a global perspective to commonize acoustics methodologies and simulation standards across regional engineering teams.
Workplace
- The role is based at the Engineering and Technology Center in Bangalore.
- Work onsite Monday through Thursday and choose the work location on Fridays based on work requirements.
Modeling and Simulation
- Develop, validate, and execute high-fidelity numerical models for HVAC systems, transport refrigeration units, compressors, fans, structures, and air handlers.
- Conduct Computational Aero-Acoustics simulations for flow-induced noise, fan noise, and turbulence-driven acoustic phenomena.
- Analyze structural-acoustic coupling, structure-borne noise, and vibration propagation using FEM and BEM solvers.
Standards and Validation
- Standardize and commonize acoustics simulation methods globally while addressing regional regulations and market requirements.
