We boldly challenge what’s possible for a sustainable world. Summary Trane in WA is hiring a Equipment Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Trane office in developing long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention by developing HVAC system related solutions and meeting sales budgets.
Responsibilities
- · Support of assigned Sales managers and their assigned customers with HVAC systems & equipment product selections, application, proposals and sales development.
- · Achieve assigned sales and customer development quota through focus on applied products customer acquisition and development
- · Capable of using selections and pricing software/programs related to the equipment sales
- · Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure seamless project execution, from initial consultation to post-sales support.
- · Process and coordinate orders to the relevant factories till delivery and assist Service team with handover and after sales queries related to the equipment sales.
- · Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.
- · Actively participate in training programs, industry events and company webinars and meetings to enhance your sales skills & technical knowledge of HVAC systems.
Education & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum three (2) years experience in Account Management, Mechanical Contracting/HVAC or Facilities Management fields would be an advantage.
Working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Must have a valid Australian working visa.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
