Key Accountabilities
- Inspect electrical parts and equipment throughout the plant and report abnormalities.
- Generate notifications for equipment abnormalities.
- Plan and install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to specifications and local codes.
- Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and other devices.
- Inspect systems and components for hazards, defects, adjustments, repairs, and code compliance.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
- Diagnose malfunctions using test equipment and hand tools.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and fixtures.
- Report abnormalities found during preventive maintenance work orders.
- Provide emergency assistance with floodlights, generators, flares, and required vehicles.
- Perform work safely and in an environmentally friendly manner.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering.
- Three to five years of relevant work experience.
- Paper or tissue manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Fair proficiency in English for reading, writing, and communication.
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
