Role Overview
The Group Supply Chain Manager leads the group’s supply chain operations and aligns supply chain strategy and operational plans with organizational objectives.
The scope includes planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, transportation, customs clearance, inventory, suppliers, costs, risks, and operational efficiency.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customs clearance operations.
- Develop supply chain strategies, policies, procedures, and operational plans.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, production supplies, and finished products.
- Manage supplier relationships, pricing, quality, approved suppliers, and delivery performance.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, stock levels, storage, and warehouse capacity utilization.
- Optimize logistics, transportation, distribution, cost control, and resource utilization.
- Monitor performance, costs, risks, and operational efficiency and implement improvements.
- Lead and develop the supply chain team and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, budgets, and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business, or economics.
- A postgraduate or master’s degree in supply chain or business administration is preferred.
- Professional supply chain certifications are a plus.
- At least 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a similar role.
- Relevant general and specialized training in management, supply chain, procurement, planning, inventory, warehousing, or quality systems.
- Good command of English sufficient to perform job duties effectively.
