Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Senior Electrical Technical Engineer for a real estate and construction client in Saudi Arabia.
The role focuses on high-rise tower projects, electrical technical coordination, shop drawings, BIM, BOQ, QA/QC, and site technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate electrical designs, shop drawings, and BIM models.
- Prepare and verify BOQ take-offs and support variations and change orders.
- Prepare and maintain as-built drawings for project close-out and O&M handover.
- Review power, lighting, fire alarm, low-current, and BMS interface installations.
- Review material submittals, vendor documents, and equipment datasheets.
- Support BIM coordination and resolve multidisciplinary clashes.
- Provide technical guidance to site teams and support testing and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with SEC requirements, Saudi Building Code, NFPA, and international standards.
- Prepare technical reports and recommendations for NCRs and technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in high-rise or tower projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical building services, BIM or Revit, AutoCAD, BOQ, and QA/QC.
- Good understanding of Saudi codes, SEC requirements, and international electrical standards.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
