The employer is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant for a client in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
The role manages the end-to-end receivables and collections cycle for major retail and modern trade accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable, collections, invoicing, cash application, and customer reconciliations.
- Handle key accounts such as hypermarkets, supermarkets, and major retail chains.
- Follow up on overdue payments and resolve invoice disputes, deductions, and short payments.
- Monitor credit limits, customer balances, and aging reports.
- Coordinate with Sales and Trade Marketing on rebates, promotions, deductions, and commercial claims.
- Support month-end closing, accounts receivable reporting, DSO, and bad debt provisions.
- Maintain accurate customer records and support ERP and accounts receivable process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5–7 years of accounts receivable or collections experience, including at least 3 years with major retail or modern trade accounts.
- Experience with major retail chains in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
- FMCG, food manufacturing, or consumer goods experience is preferred.
- Strong ERP and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Fluent English and Arabic is required.
