Role Overview
Senior Civil Technical Engineer role supporting a landmark high-rise tower project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Technical Responsibilities
- Review civil and structural designs and shop drawings for high-rise towers.
- Prepare and coordinate shop drawings with the BIM model and site conditions.
- Prepare and maintain as-built drawings for handover.
- Review BOQ take-offs for procurement, tendering, and variations.
- Conduct technical and quality-control reviews against the Saudi Building Code and international standards.
- Coordinate structural elements through BIM for clash-free integration with architectural and MEP disciplines.
- Review technical submittals, material approvals, and test certificates.
Construction Support
- Provide technical guidance to site civil engineers on complex construction issues.
- Participate in inspections, testing, and structural commissioning activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Proven experience working on high-rise tower projects.
- Strong knowledge of BIM and BIM coordination.
- Experience with structural and civil shop drawings, BOQ, QA/QC, and technical submissions.
- Good knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and relevant international standards.
- Previous high-rise experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
