Responsibilities
- Carry out on site engineering reviews, attend site visits and meetings with customers to understand project requirements.
- Analyze client system load profiles and electrical plan characteristics to determine sizing of power generation packages.
- Perform due diligence reviews of electrical installations at both design and operational stages.
- Analyze and interpret electrical drawings to determine parameters for safe and efficient connection of power packages.
- Compile or review engineering design reports for submission to clients, management, and regulatory authorities.
- Design schematic and layout drawings, compile electrical system schematic drawings.
- Perform electrical fault level calculations and protection studies for high voltage systems.
- Review CAD based schematic and layout drawings with modifications as required.
- Prepare Project Design Pack documentation in sales proposals and project contractual documentation.
- Advise Sales team on specific design issues and propose engineering solutions.
- Advise Operations team on project design details during mobilization and on engineering issues during installation and commissioning.
- Display commitment to Operational Excellence Initiatives and QHSE compliance.
Requirements
- Experience in electrical engineering design and technical support for power generation projects.
- Ability to carry out on site engineering reviews, attend site visits, and understand project requirements.
- Proficiency in electrical fault level calculations and protection studies for high voltage systems.
- Experience with CAD based schematic and layout drawings.
- Knowledge of QHSE standards and commitment to operational excellence.

Role Overview

What you'll do as Senior Electrical Engineer
