The Senior EHS role develops and monitors environmental, health, and safety programs across an organization or site.
The position is located in Bangalore and follows a work-from-office model.
Candidate Expectations
- The role requires 5–10 years of total and relevant experience.
- Any graduation qualification is required.
- Key experience includes EHS or HSE management, safety audits, and incident investigation.
- Knowledge of HIRA, risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor EHS policies, procedures, standards, and safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with EHS statutory requirements, regulations, and legal standards.
- Conduct HIRA, JSA, risk assessments, inspections, and compliance audits.
- Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead incident investigations and implement root cause analysis and CAPA.
- Monitor EHS KPIs, safety observations, near misses, and incident rates.
- Conduct toolbox talks, training, awareness programs, and emergency drills.
- Implement PPE, Permit to Work, LOTO, working-at-height, and confined-space procedures.
- Manage contractor safety and organizational or site EHS compliance.
- Drive fire safety, emergency preparedness, and disaster management.
- Monitor hazardous waste, waste, emissions, and effluent compliance.
- Maintain EHS documentation, statutory registers, audit records, and reports.
