- Prepare shop drawings, as built drawings, and details for civil and infrastructure works
- Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors for drawing requirements
- Review IFC drawings and prepare RFIs for discrepancies
- Ensure drawings meet project specifications and authority requirements
- Train and mentor junior draftsmen
- Maintain drawing records and ensure timely submissions
- Review utility layouts and identify clashes between wet and dry utilities
- Lead preparation and quality review of shop drawings, coordination drawings, authority submissions and as built documentation
- Support engineering teams in quantity take offs and drawing based quantity verification
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Drafting or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in roads, utilities and infrastructure projects
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D including corridors, alignments, profiles, surfaces, grading and utility networks
- Experience in Navisworks and BIM coordination processes
- Leadership skills for mentoring junior staff

Role Purpose
- To prepare, review, and coordinate infrastructure, roads, earthworks, and marine works drawings, ensuring accuracy, compliance with specifications, and timely submission for approvals.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare shop drawings, as built drawings, and details for civil and infrastructure works
- Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors for drawing requirements
- Review IFC drawings and prepare RFIs for discrepancies
- Ensure drawings meet project specifications and authority requirements
- Train and mentor junior draftsmen

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Diploma in Civil Drafting or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in roads, utilities and infrastructure projects including sewer, storm water, potable water, irrigation, telecom, street lighting and utility corridors
- Strong knowledge of CAD standards and project specifications
- Leadership skills for mentoring junior staff
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D including corridors, alignments, profiles, surfaces, grading and utility networks
- Experience in Navisworks and BIM coordination processes, including federated model reviews and clash detection (if applicable)
