Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain project document control systems, processes, and procedures
- Manage receipt, registration, distribution, tracking, filing, and archiving of all project documentation
- Administer and maintain electronic document management systems (EDMS) and ensure data accuracy
- Ensure compliance with company standards, project procedures, and quality management requirements
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, commercial, and client teams regarding document submissions
- Prepare regular reports on document status, submission logs, and workflow performance
- Lead and supervise document controllers and administrative support staff
- Manage final handover documentation, as built records, and closeout documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in document control within construction, infrastructure, or airport projects
- Experience leading document control functions on large scale or multidisciplinary projects
- Proficiency in EDMS platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, Documentum, or similar
- Strong knowledge of document control standards, procedures, and best practices

Job Overview
- Parsons is seeking an experienced and detail oriented Senior Document Controller to oversee document management for a large scale airport development program.
- The role requires managing project documentation systems, ensuring compliance, and supporting efficient information flow across multidisciplinary teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Establish and maintain project document control systems, processes, and procedures.
- Manage the receipt, registration, distribution, tracking, filing, and archiving of all project documentation.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing documents are properly controlled, logged, and transmitted.
- Maintain document numbering systems, revision controls, and document workflows.
- Administer and maintain electronic document management systems (EDMS).
- Ensure compliance with company standards, project procedures, and quality management requirements.
- Monitor document control activities to ensure alignment with contractual and regulatory obligations.
- Support audits and ensure all records are maintained in an audit ready condition.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, commercial, and client teams.
- Serve as the focal point for document control matters between contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Track document review cycles and follow up on overdue submissions and approvals.
- Prepare regular reports on document status, submission logs, outstanding actions, and workflow performance.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in document control within construction, infrastructure, or airport projects.
- Experience leading document control functions on large scale or multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong understanding of project documentation processes and workflows.
- Proficiency in EDMS platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, Documentum, or similar systems.
- Strong knowledge of document control standards, procedures, and best practices.
