Role overview
The Infrastructure Engineering group builds multi-provider cloud infrastructure and automation for ZoomInfo Engineering.
The role leads the evolution of a cloud ecosystem supporting scalable, resilient, and high-performance AI-driven products.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain Solr, HBase, and Redis search and NoSQL systems.
- Manage AWS and GCP infrastructure with Terraform.
- Operate stateful data services on Kubernetes.
- Integrate vector search databases and high-performance computing for AI architectures.
- Implement monitoring and alerting with Datadog and Prometheus.
- Develop automation in Python, Go, or Bash and use LLMs to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage VPCs, load balancing, service meshes, and caching layers.
- Lead distributed-systems incident response, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE experience is required.
- Significant experience with high-scale distributed data systems is required.
- Expert Linux performance tuning knowledge is required.
- Terraform or OpenTofu infrastructure experience is required.
- Production-grade stateful Kubernetes experience is required.
